Our sincere thanks to the twenty-one teams who contested the Captain David Seath Memorial Fund Pub Quiz at the Garvock House Hotel, Dunfermline on Friday 16 November 2018, which has raised over £1000 in support of David’s legacy.

We were delighted to welcome so many familiar faces who so generously support our pub quiz event on an annual basis and, equally, we enjoyed the opportunity to forge so many new friendships on the night.
Our teams successfully negotiated seven rounds of questions and picture rounds, which focused on a range of topics, including general knowledge, films, sport, historical events and music.
The winners proved to be ScotsStars, who scored an extremely impressive sixty points out of a possible seventy, whose name will be engraved on the Captain David Seath Memorial Fund Pub Quiz Shield.
The funds raised will be used to support our work through the Captain David Seath Memorial Fund, which supports personnel and veterans living with life-changing physical and psychological trauma through Help for Heroes.
David’s memorial fund is making a huge and lasting difference to its beneficiaries. Every donation made in his memory is used to support Help for Heroes’ Quick Reaction Fund (QRF) which provides specialist sports equipment, respite breaks and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) therapy, as well as facilitating supported employment placements, training courses and the setting up of small businesses.
